The controller responsible for the processing described below is anwision GmbH, Kattrepel 2, 20095 Hamburg, Germany, represented by its managing director, Antonio-Jan Waldner.

This policy applies to our website at anwision.de and its English version at anwision.com. It covers website visits and our contact options, including applications. Additional privacy information may apply to individual client projects.

We use Vercel to deliver and operate this website. The provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Page requests involve processing your IP address, date and time, requested address, technical browser and operating system details, and connection and status information. Your browser may also transmit the address of a previously visited page.

This processing delivers the requested content, supports troubleshooting and protects against misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliably accessible website. The website cannot be delivered without the data needed to establish the connection.

Our server-side functions are configured to run in Frankfurt. Vercel also uses internationally distributed infrastructure, so this setting does not mean that all processing takes place in Germany or Europe. Vercel's data processing terms apply to processing on our behalf. Vercel also describes its own processing of operational and account data in its privacy notice.

Technical logs support timely checks on website operation. Information needed for a specific fault or security investigation is retained only until that investigation and any necessary handling of related claims are complete. The purpose-based retention and deletion criteria described by Vercel apply to operational data for which it is responsible. We manage text and other editorial content using Sanity, provided by Sanity US Inc., USA. Content is held in an access-controlled dataset and retrieved by our servers for the public website. Contact and application details entered on this website are not transmitted to Sanity.

Sanity supports the storage, editing and delivery of our content. Where personal data appears in editorial content or authorised editorial accounts, we process it to manage our website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is organised, secure content management. Editorial access is intended for authorised users.

Sanity's data processing agreement governs processing on our behalf and potential international transfers. Data and backups are subject to contractual deletion and backup procedures; these do not establish one retention period for all data. The fonts, images and icons currently used are delivered through our website. Loading fonts does not establish a connection to an external font service.

Filters, checklists, the service finder and project planner process your selections within the open browser. They do not automatically send those selections to us. Features that prepare an enquiry open your email application with suggested text. You decide there whether to send the message and what it contains. A copy feature, when expressly selected, writes the prepared text to your clipboard without reading existing clipboard contents.

Our public website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, install advertising pixels, or persistently store your selections in browser local storage. Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, embedded maps and external video players are not activated.

The “anwision-preview” cookie is set only when the protected editorial preview mode is expressly accessed. It provides the requested preview and expires after one hour; leaving preview mode removes it. This necessary access is covered by Section 25(2)(2) of Germany's TDDDG. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies to securing editorial access.

When you contact us, we process the contact details, message and any attached documents that you provide. We use this information to respond and, where requested, to prepare or carry out a working relationship.

Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to enquiries by an individual about a contract with us. For other enquiries and communication with a company's representatives, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is handling business enquiries appropriately and managing existing business relationships.

Access is limited to the people at anwision handling your enquiry and the communication and IT providers needed to transmit, store and protect it. Providing the information is voluntary. Without a working contact address and the details necessary to understand your request, we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.

Email delivery for our domains uses mail servers operated by IONOS SE. This involves processing the sender and recipient details and messages needed for delivery. Provider information: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/datenschutzerklaerung/.

We keep correspondence while handling your enquiry and any resulting contract. Once that purpose ends, the data is deleted unless a statutory retention duty or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims requires further retention. In those cases, further use is restricted to that retention purpose.

The WhatsApp option is an external link. The service is accessed only when you open that link. You can contact us by email or telephone instead.

If you message us through WhatsApp, we process your telephone number, visible profile information and the content you send to handle your request. The purposes, legal bases and deletion criteria in the contact enquiries section apply to our handling of that information.

WhatsApp is provided to users in the European Economic Area by WhatsApp Ireland Limited. It processes account, device and connection information under its own terms, which may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Please send job applications and freelance enquiries to karriere@anwision.de. Selections and information entered on our careers page prepare an email locally. There is no background form submission. We receive the information and any documents you attach only after you send the prepared message from your email application.

We process your name, contact details, preferred role and type of collaboration, together with any experience, qualifications and availability you share. This helps us assess your enquiry and decide on a potential working relationship. Details needed to contact you and assess your suitability are necessary for that purpose; additional information is voluntary. Without sufficient information, we may be unable to assess an application.

For employment applications, the legal basis is Section 26(1), first sentence, of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies when preparing a freelance contract. Recipients are the people involved in selection at anwision and the necessary email and IT providers. This website does not automatically evaluate applications or make recruitment decisions.

If you are hired or engaged, the necessary information becomes part of the subsequent personnel or contract administration. If no working relationship results, the selection purpose ends when the procedure closes. Information is retained further only where necessary to clarify or defend potential legal claims, based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and is deleted afterwards. Inclusion in a longer-term candidate pool requires separate consent and separate information about retention and withdrawal.

Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Maps and other providers open their services. We do not embed their social media widgets, maps or video players on our pages. When you open a link, the provider receives the data needed to establish the connection. If you are signed in there, the visit may be associated with your account. The selected provider's privacy information applies.

The AI buttons open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or a Google AI service. The prepared link text contains only a fixed description of publicly presented company details and services offered by anwision, together with a question about them. Contact or application information is not added to this text. The prepared text is passed to the selected service only when you open the link. You decide whether to provide further information or use an account with that service.

We use the hosting, CMS, communication and IT providers described above to the extent necessary. Where they process personal data on our behalf, this is governed by a contract under Article 28 GDPR. Data may also be disclosed to authorities or advisers bound by professional confidentiality where necessary to meet legal obligations or protect legal claims.

Vercel and Sanity may process data in the USA or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Their data processing agreements provide for mechanisms including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers. An applicable adequacy decision may provide the basis where its requirements are met. The mechanism depends on the recipient and processing involved; this does not amount to a promise of exclusively European processing.
